Pros and cons of Begin - Your daily to-do list app for iPhone and iPad

Begin - Your daily to-do list app good for

If you believe that things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler, this is the right todo app for you. Begin offers no distractions, no way to get lost in featurespace and beautiful design. For what I need, its perfect.
I love the update and i even bought the extension, but it bugs me that it still says "extend Begin for 0,89€". It seems so incomplete, i would like it better when it would show something "Thank you for buying".
I like the simplistic approach and the fantastic design. Great start for this app. Those looking to get things done without spending hours making lists, Begin is a promising app.
I really like this app! Good idea to focus on what I have to do today and what I have to do tomorrow. Other To Do apps Ive used get overwhelmed with too many tasks and nothing gets done! This app makes sense to me and is well designed. Thanks!
I LOVE THIS APP! Interacting with it is perfectly simple, clean and effective. Perfect for a single To-Do list. Most note apps like are overly cluttered with lists upon lists upon bundles of semi useless features, where as Begin sticks to basics and excels. Id love to see a paid version of the app where you can create custom themes using the current colour scheme. Please take my money! Ps. Pretty sure Steve Jobs would nod in approval of this app.
Finally a to do list thats just that...a to do list. What a concept! Simple, easy and top notch. Download load it today. Thanks developer! Ive looked high and low for this very thing:) so happy now!!!

Some bad moments

It would be an awesome app but it needs optimization for all iPhone screens
This is the to do app I always wanted to write myself—thankfully someone else wrote it since Id never get around to it. Simple, clean, no bells or whistles. Some people want all the extras, but this is perfect.
I maintain long lists of tasks in other apps, for long term projects. Checking those lists feels daunting on a daily basis though. This app helps me put focus where it needs to be, tasks coming up today and tomorrow. It has helped me map out a reasonable number of goals for the day and maintain that focus.
It was confusing to figure out the gestures… but for just a few minutes. But once used it, it makes a lot of sense. I really needed a simple, lightweight todo app. Ive been using a mix of Apples Reminders and Vesper and some Trello (sync/shares with others). And Ill likely still use those for my larger overall todo list. But for my immediate today/tomorrow, I wanted something to help me with my short-term focus. And this works well. I like it. Thanks!
Im a dedicated GTD person, and use OmniFocus as my main task manager. But every day I need to know just the few things that have to get done that day, and I dont want to be dipping back into the giant, daunting pile of tasks that await me in OF. This little app is perfection for that purpose. In the evening or the next morning before the day begins, I review my OF tasks and transfer those that need to be done that day to Begin. From then on, my day is in Begin. I add new tasks there, too. Tasks I dont finish are handily forwarded to the next day. The simple design of Begin is pleasing to the eye with minimum friction, The developer has been delightfully responsive to my inquiries. He tells me, for example, that the inability to edit a task once entered is being addressed in an update. I love this app and use it daily.
A Clear rip that deletes your tasks every morning so you start with a blank list. Needs the ability to edit tasks, and some kind of guide to to remind us of its secret confusing gestures.
